WIN with Ackermans as Barbie celebrates her 60th Anniversary

This year Barbie turns 60! – can you believe it! Since her debut back in 1959, Barbie has become a global icon and muse and continues to spark imaginations and influence conversations around the world. Barbie has become a reflection of the times and aims to show girls that women have choices – Barbie has always empowered the limitless potential in every girl!

The creator of the Barbie doll, Ruth Handler said it best.

“My whole philosophy of Barbie was that through the doll, the little girl could be anything she wanted to be. Barbie always represented the fact that a woman has choices.”

I have always encouraged my kids to have fun and be who they want to be, letting their imaginations run wild, and there’s no better way to do this for Soph than to be fully kitted out in her Barbie attire where she can immerse herself in a world where she can be anything she wants and do anything she wants.

Moment of honesty, I am not really a fan of character styled clothing, but Soph went absolutely mad (those that saw the Insta Stories will attest to that) when she saw what was in the hamper that we got. She was so excited she even ran out of the room with her new “blankie” and it hasn’t left her side since. Ackermans has a fabulous new range of affordable Barbie attire, allowing us to keep Soph and girls  across the country comfortable, and cozy. This is going to be especially great for the winter months headed our way when it gets a little chilly, so head to your nearest Ackermans to have a look at the amazing new range!

Just a couple items of the gorgeous new range hitting stores!

How can you win? Head on over to the Ackermans Facebook page here – where you can win a hamper for you and three lucky friends. The winner will receive 1 x Pamper Party Hamper with contents for each friend – how amazing is that, enough to make any little girl’s dreams come true.

Why not enter a world where Barbie’s Sheroes help girls imagine what they can become in the future, that’s a world I’m happy to play in!
