Baking with Soph – Pillsbury Frosted Chocolate Brownie slices

So, Soph and I have been busy in the kitchen. My little girl loves to bake and help out in the kitchen, from a very young age. We love baking together on the weekend as a generally inexpensive fun activity to do, working on fine motor skills, and bonding together. So much so, that we’ve created a whole series of bakes with Pillsbury, showing parents just how easy it is to bake with your children using the Pillsbury products they have on offer to us in South Africa.

I hope this series inspires you to spend a little time in the kitchen with your kids whipping up something delicious for yourselves! First up in the ‘Baking with Soph’ series, we have:

Pillsbury Frosted Chocolate Brownie slices

Ingredients:

1 x box Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Flavoured Brownie Mix

(15ml Water, 65ml Oil, 2 Eggs)

1 x tub Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Milk Chocolate Flavoured Frosting

1 x punnet of Strawberries, halved

Method:

  1. Mix up Brownie Mix, Eggs, Oil and Water as per box instructions.
  2. Pour the ready Brownie Mix into a greased baking tray or dish and bake as per box instructions.
  3. Once baked and cooled, frost your brownies with the Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Frosting, slice into squares and decorate with strawberries that have been halved – then, enjoy!
