Easter is coming! Why not get the kids into the Easter spirit these holidays by baking these adorable (and easy) little Easter Nest Cupcakes. I used a medium sized cupcake case so they weren’t too big for little mouths. These are also the perfect little treat to share with classmates and friends, and a fun little weekend bake. If you’ve missed our first two fab Pillsbury bakes, here’s where you can find the Frosted Brownie Slices and a Banana & Walnut Bundt Cake recipes.
Ingredients:
1 x box Pillsbury Moist Supreme Chocolate Cake Mix
(205ml Water, 125ml Oil, 3 Eggs)
1 x tub Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Milk Chocolate Flavoured Frosting
Mini chocolate eggs to decorate
Method:
- Mix up Chocolate Cake Mix, Eggs, Oil and Water as per box instructions.
- Prepare your muffin pan with a medium-sized paper cupcake case into each hole and then pour in the ready Cake Mix, filling the cupcake cases no more than ½ way and bake as per box instructions.
- Once baked and cooled, fill a piping bag with the Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Frosting that has been slightly chilled (using a grass-effect piping tip) and pipe the ‘nest’ around the edges of the cooled cupcake. To finish off the nest, top with some mini eggs – there you have it, fabulous Easter nests!
